I continue to run into issue after issue since I upgraded to PopOS Cosmic. Wayland will not let me have access to my USB serial port.... After 3 hours of fighting with different apps and terminals I finally, on a whim, switched to tty2 (ctrl-alt-F2) and logged in text mode and cu was able to access /dev/ttyUSB0 from there.

Also still haven't got my VPN connections to work.

I'm very disappointed that @pop_os_official didn't give more of a heads up that a lot of stuff on my system wasn't going to work with Wayland.

Repurposed an old machine and installed #PopOS. Just found that the #wacom driver is not compatible with #wayland . That's a bummer... Ill have to switch to an xorg desktop gui in the meantime. I haven't used vanilla #gnome in a while and I feel like I have to spend way too much time figuring everything out... ( I tried open linux driver but my wacom isn't compatible unfortunately...) No complaints here though, just part of the process. I'll update again if I find a better solution. I hope #System76 can implement something, I wonder if there is a way I can help test things out or something?
