Kind.Social is also dealing with this specific wave of spam signup attempts. We had 40+ in less than an hour.
So far, the three email domains I've had to block are:
au.com
ezweb.ne.jp
docomo.ne.jp
I recommend that other admins block those same domains, even if they haven't received any spam account yet. Plus, if you have open signups, check recent accounts for this.
